Service Coordinator - Equipment Service Operations ($20-$25/hr)

Join a trusted, family-owned company that's been serving Hawai‘i for over 60 years. We're seeking a Service Coordinator to support our equipment service operations in Kona. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, service shop experience, and a passion for customer service.

Service Coordinator Key Responsibilities

• Open and manage work orders, reconcile timecards, and ensure accurate job documentation
• Coordinate job schedules, equipment pickups/deliveries, and mechanic assignments
• Process warranty claims and collaborate with internal departments and vendors
• Maintain service records, requisitions, and department files
• Assist with customer communication, job status updates, and dispute resolution
• Support safety, credit, and housekeeping policies
• Monitor departmental metrics and identify training needs for support staff

Service Coordinator Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a service shop environment
• Strong PC and administrative skills
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and communication abilities
• Supervisory experience preferred

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, walk, stoop, reach, and sit for extended periods
• Work in office and shop environments with varying noise and temperature conditions
