Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Roofing Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing roofing projects, preparing detailed proposals, and providing estimates that align with the company's standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct thorough inspections of roofing projects to assess conditions and requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates for roofing projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize ProEst software to generate and manage proposals efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify project specifications and expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide competitive estimates.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a roofing estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software, particularly ProEst.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
